CLEANING YOUR UNIFORMS Please be sure to remind your parents that all uniforms need to be washed in cold water, and air dried.

Heated drying causes the uniforms to wear out quicker and must be replaced.  A typical set of uniforms will cost the organization nearly $1,000 to be replaced.  Help us cut our costs, by washing the uniforms properly.

Thank you,   .............SI Board

BASKETBALL RULES

I found this link about 2 years ago and thought I would pass it along. As some of you are refs you will find this link interesting and hopefully helpful. For those AD's who are not refs you should be familiar with these. I am always looking in the rule book for obscure rules or as odd things come up during a game. In the link below, #12 and #14 would certainly get a rise from the coaches and the crowd. I really wish refs, coaches, parents and players would understand # 8 and # 23 as I always hear complaints about these during the game.

I will bet most of you had no idea about # 8 !!!

Many Thanks, Jim (SI President)
